【摘要】

Tumor metastasis is responsible for the cause of tumor-related death. Up to date, there is no effective treatment to metastatic tumor. The cryo-thermal ablation therapy, a combinatorial variant of the thermal strategies, was found not only eradicated primary tumor without recurrence, but inhibited metastasis resulting in a long-term tumor-free survival in various aggressive tumor animal models. The whole body immunological response was enhanced, and no tumor growth was found in the cured mice with the second tumor challenge. We focus on studying the mechanism of the cryo-thermal therapy-induced strong systemic tumor-specific long-term immunologic memory. In this talk, we will introduce some progression in this study area.
